1. Click Section Tools.

   The Section tools menu appears:

   
2. To create a section by plane, select Section by Plane, and then hover the pointer over an object until part of it is highlighted, and then when the plane glyph attached to the pointer is correctly oriented, click to complete the plane.

   The cutting plane appears in the view.

3. You can click and drag the green arrow to move the clip plane.
4. To turn off the cutting plane, click a location that is not part of the plane.

   You can now view the sectioned objects.

The Status bar displays several tools that work in conjunction with Section Tools.

5. Click Section Tools,

   This opens the Section Tools pop up settings tab.

   
6. Click Section Handles.

   The selected section's handles appear and allow you to edit the section view boundaries.

7. Click Clear Sections.

   Clears sections from the view, restoring the model.
